Great Pictures of Mt. Everest If I do say so myself

Here, you'll find some really great pictures of Mount Everest.  All the pictures of Mount Everest on this page were taken by Eric Bolz.  Over a period of several years he has trekked to all sides of Mount Everest and has posted these pictures for your enjoyment.  All of these photos were taken with a Canon Elan II (28-135 Ultrasonic IS lens) using Kodak E100S slide film.   All scans were done with Kodak Photo CD.  Click on any image below for a high resolution photo.  Send email here.

This picture of Mount Everest (one of my favorites) was take from the my sleeping bag in my tent on the Kangshung glacier, roughly 6 miles (10 km) east  of the peak.  It was my first view of Mt. Everest from the Kangshung glacier because clouds has blocked our view the day we arrived. Wow!!!

This picture of Mt. Everest was take from Dingboche Nepal.  Taken at sunset you can just see the top of Mt. Everest with a cloud plume coming off the peak.
